History of NOAHH.

NOAHH, formerly known as the Hispanic Health Committee, was founded in 2003 to prepare for Convención Hispana 2004.  La Convención Hispana gathers NE Ohio Latinos every three years in Cleveland to shape the agenda and strengthen relationships among residents, professionals, advocates, and policymakers.  The Hispanic Health Committee later joined the Hispanic Round Table for La Convención Hispana as one of several area teams addressing the Hispanic community’s health and disparities. The Hispanic Health Committee members decided to continue to meet monthly to help manage ongoing community needs.
