My Story
Angie Lastovka was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, where she studied Marketing and Advertising. Shortly after, she came to the USA with a cultural exchange program and worked as Au Pair with the goal to improve her English skills and learn more about the American culture. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a major in International Studies and a minor in International Business.
Passionate about using her diverse skill set for the greater good, Angie embraces the opportunities globalization offers by fostering connections with people from different social backgrounds, cultures, and languages. Over the past seven years, she has built her career in the nonprofit sector in Cleveland, gaining expertise in community engagement, program development, marketing, donor prospecting, cultivation, and event planning.
When not working to improve the health and wellbeing of the communities in Cleveland, Angie enjoys yoga, hiking, dancing, reading a good book, and travel throughout the country and abroad.
